Learn. Create. Lead.

Avantpreneur Business Lab applies classroom knowledge through real business challenges, collaborative projects, and industry-guided learning.

From Classroom Knowledge to Real-World Action

Avantpreneur allows students to take an active role in business operations. Working in teams, they plan and execute projects, respond to market feedback and reflect on their results.

Instead of learning about business only through lectures and case studies, participants experience the responsibilities, decisions and teamwork involved in bringing ideas to life.

About Avantpreneur
Business Lab

The Avantpreneur Business Lab is a work-integrated learning initiative established through a collaboration between AvantHealth and Curtin University Malaysia’s Faculty of Business.

Launched in April 2025 at Curtin Malaysia’s Miri campus, the programme gives students practical exposure to how a business operates—from developing marketing ideas and engaging customers to managing inventory, reviewing performance and working towards shared goals.

Supported by academic guidance and industry mentorship, Avantpreneur provides a structured environment where students can test ideas, learn from experience and build professional confidence.

Why AvantHealth
Supports Avantpreneur

Avantpreneur reflects AvantHealth’s commitment to developing future ready talent and creating meaningful learning opportunities in Sarawak.

Through the programme, AvantHealth contributes industry knowledge, mentorship and practical exposure to how science-led Malaysian wellness products move from innovation to market.

The collaboration also creates opportunities for young people to understand the value of responsible business, local innovation and high-value applications of Malaysia’s natural resources.

Program Impact

Avantpreneur is designed to build confidence, strengthen employability skills and help students understand what it takes to create, operate and improve a business initiative.
