On 22nd April 2024, AvantHealth successfully launched our first outreach program, “Sihat Bersama AvantHealth”, at Sekolah Kebangsaan Long Urun, Sarawak. This initiative is designed to promote healthy habits and well-being among young children in rural communities. During this program, AvantHealth sponsored some goodies and a nutritious lunch for school children.
The exciting morning started with a welcoming remark by Mr Jurem, Penolong Kanan 1 Sk Long Urun, as all teachers and students gathered in the assembly hall. More than 100 students from pre-school to grade 6 participated in the program.
  
AvantHealth representative, Amizal Othman shared with the students about the different type of vitamins, the importance of balanced nutrition and problems of vitamin deficiency, emphasizing the role it plays in supporting a healthy child’s development.
  
To ensure the students understood the learning points, there was a quiz activity to test their knowledge. About 30 lucky students were rewarded with goodies for answering the quiz correctly.
  
Children and teachers were introduced to a healthy snack – Avjellye Kids with Mixed Tocotrienols and Multivitamins, to support healthy growth. 200 sticks of Avjellye were distributed to gleeful children who were excited to try the new orange flavoured snack. Avjellye contains Vitamins A, B, C, D, E and Tocotrienols for a power-packed healthy snack.
AvantHealth would like to express our sincere appreciation to Sekolah Kebangsaan Long Urun for hosting our first “Sihat Bersama AvantHealth” outreach program. The warm welcome and positive atmosphere created by the school administration, teachers, and students made the entire experience truly delightful. We were impressed by the enthusiasm of the students who actively participated in the program’s activities.
